Like I’ve said before, we’re SO thankful for the woman that watches Miles during the day. But what about those other times (evenings, weekends, etc.) when we need someone to keep an eye on him. Once again — SO thankful.
It’s pretty scary to leave your baby with a stranger, so it was really important to us that whoever we left him with came recommended. We tried a couple of people before we landed on Renita. She’s a 20 year-old pre-med (for now) student who also volunteers at church a lot, and she’s great!
So, what makes a good sitter? For us, it was someone nice (obviously), easygoing (no stress for baby), and responsible–she will text me sometimes just to say that Miles is still sleeping. I love that! It satisfies the crazy mom in me without forcing me to admit I am a crazy mom.
Mommies (and daddies), what do YOU think makes for a great sitter?
