One of the projects I’ve kept myself busy with over the last year is a delightful web series that I worked on with my dear friend Liz – AKA Nerd in the City.
The series is called “So…This Happened,” and it’s a pretty hilarious look at dating in New York City. The best part about it is that all these things actually happened to her – sad, but true! You’ll know what I mean once you’ve had a chance to check it out.
Liz is the archetypal artist – about a million amazing ideas floating around at all times. And that’s where me and my Type A come in. She takes care of the ideas, and write and stars in the series…while I make sure it actually happens, putting together the schedules and securing all the equipment for filming.
It’s pretty much been a working match made in heaven, and I’m sad to say that this past weekend was our last day of shooting. Once it’s all said and done, there will be 40 episodes up on the YouTube page, and I hope you’ll take the hour or two to enjoy them all.
I’m really proud of the project, and I look forward to more opportunities to use my strengths in a creative way. Wait, when did this become my resume objective?
