And by that I mean, NO. MORE. DIAPERS.
I don’t know what kind of voodoo my mother-in-law does, but I do know that after a week with her over the Christmas holidays, Miles is now diaper-free…and it’s glorious.
We had started introducing him to the potty several months back, but were never too serious about it. Asking a toddler to use the bathroom every 20 minutes is a lot less fun than it sounds.
Regardless, it’s a done deal. I wish I could share her secrets with you, but I genuinely have no idea how she seemingly overnight trained him in the ways of toilet usage. I think it may have involved a little guilt (as in, “I’ll be so sad if you don’t do this.”) and possibly a sweet treat or two…and I’m okay with it. All I know is that our home is a lot less stinky than it was a few months ago.
Do you have any amazing potty training tips to share with the world?
