What’s my thing?

You know what I mean. My thing. My passion. The thing I can get excited to write about and research and so on. I just recently came upon this other blog post that got my wheels turning:

I tried to be a lifestyle blogger and wrote about anything and everything, but my online presence didn’t feel right until I started blogging about blogging. Nothing got me as excited. Nothing unleashed the flood of post ideas and book ideas and made me as thrilled to share and connect and teach.

And there it was, the reason why keeping up with blogging has been such a struggle for me. I can write about Miles and marriage and random things going on in my life, but I haven’t quite nailed down that elusive thing…yet.

Over the course of however long it takes, I’m determined to figure it out, though. That might mean some very random seeming posts for a while, but I think it’s worth it.

Shout out to XO Sarah for helping me figure things out a little. I absolutely recommend following her to any bloggers or prospective followers for some great insights on blogging, marketing, and I’m guessing a lot of other stuff…I just started reading myself.

Any other good resources for finding my thing?
