To be completely honest, when I received my copy of Disney Princess: A Magical Pop-Up World, I was a little confused. There was no note that I could find, and I had completely forgotten that I had requested a copy to review.
But I opened the mystery box. There’s a chance that my heart skipped a beat at the sight of the beautiful cover, and the skipping just kept coming after I carefully slid the book out of its plastic cover.

According to me:
I haven’t looked at a pop-up book in a long time, but I’m pretty sure this is the most beautiful and elaborate one I’ve ever laid eyes on. Each page drops you right in the middle of a spectacular scene from one of your favorite Disney classics. In addition to the featured stories – including Snow White, The Little Mermaid, and Tangled) – there are smaller stories from other movies (Mulan, The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin…) in the corners.
My biggest qualm with the book is that I wanted more! The actual text that’s included would be considered the Reader’s Digest version…if the entire Reader’s Digest was consolidated down to one page.
But let’s be real. You’ll get so lost in the bright colors and seriously “magical” transformations that it doesn’t even matter.
If you have a princess fan…or a Disney fan…or a book fan, this would make a perfect gift. Heck, buy it for yourself! It’s the kind of thing you’ll want to keep forever.
