While fall is hands-down my favorite season, Valentine’s Day has always been my favorite holiday. What can I say? Even before I had a husband to share it with, I’ve always been a sucker for a day dedicated entirely to telling people how much you love them.

It doesn’t have to be romantic love either! I am lucky to have some amazing friends and family, who also deserve to know that I love them. Heck, if nothing else, YOU deserve to know how much you’re loved!

This year, rather than sharing my picks for each specific relationship, I’m going to show you some of my favorite Valentine’s Day gifts that would make most anyone in your life happy.

Ceramic Coasters from Target

I’ve decided to step up my seasonal decor a bit this year. Everyone seems to make it a point to pull out all the stops for the December holidays, but let’s keep things going! I know it’s a little more effort throughout the year, but it’s also a lot of fun. These coasters would be a great way to add some fun to the living room.

Heart Umbrella from Macy’s

I don’t know what it’s like where you live, but the weather in NYC can be wildly unpredictable. As in clear blue skies in the morning, followed by torrential downpours in the afternoon and wild winds in the evening. I always carry an umbrella, and this one looks like it could brighten even the cloudiest of days.

Tote Bag from Old Navy

Basically, you’re lucky I didn’t stop mid-post to run out and pick up this bag right now. How cute is this?! Sure, I have a shelf full of bags and end up using the same three of them all the time, but still. I’m a sucker for a good canvas tote, and I can definitely see this one getting worked into the rotation.

Ceramic Utensils from Williams Sonoma

I might cook more if I had these cuties in my kitchen. Okay, well, no, not actually (name that 90’s teen movie!), but they’re still adorable. They’re also great because, while they’re branded with small hearts, they could easily be used year-round. In fact, I’m going to go ahead and call these an investment. No? Too much?

Love is Love Candle from West Elm

You know we couldn’t get through this without at least one “traditional” gift. I’ve never been much of a candle girl, but this one is too cute to resist. Whether for your #1 lady or your best gal pal, this one is a pretty safe bet. Bonus: it’s on sale. Bigger Bonus: the purchase of one of these goes to benefit the Human Rights Campaign.

Say it with me, people: LOVE IS LOVE IS LOVE.

Hope you all have a love-filled Valentine’s Day!
